LINE shut down LINE VOOM, its public post feed, in Thailand on September 28, 2026, at 11:00 local time, as LINE for Business had announced. VOOM is now inaccessible in Thailand and every post on it — including posts from a LINE Official Account — has been deleted.
What changed
Access to VOOM in Thailand ended September 28, 2026, at 11:00. Stories, Follow/Follower, and Birthday Cards inside VOOM stopped the same moment. For Official Account owners, the “Broadcast to LINE VOOM” option in OA CMS also ended that day: any Broadcast still scheduled to post to VOOM after the cutoff did not go out. Broadcasts sent straight to chat were unaffected. LINE Ads placements that ran inside VOOM changed as well; LINE Ad Manager carries the follow-up details.
What is still open
OA owners can still download VOOM images and videos via voom-studio.line.biz — the window runs October 1 through December 31, 2026. Log in with the OA account, open Posts, and download each one; nothing is recoverable once that window closes.
Why it matters for Thai sellers and support teams
Official Accounts that used VOOM as a free feed for promotions and product updates lost that channel, and everything posted there, at once. Any Broadcast still queued for VOOM after September 28 simply never posted — worth checking OA CMS now if nobody confirmed the queue at the time. Anyone who ran paid LINE Ads inside VOOM should confirm in LINE Ad Manager how those placements were reassigned rather than assume nothing changed.
What to do now
- Check OA CMS for any Broadcast that was still set to post to VOOM after September 28 — it did not go out, so resend that content through chat or another channel if it still matters.
- Between now and December 31, 2026, download any VOOM photos or videos you still need from voom-studio.line.biz.
- Move VOOM-only promotional content to a channel that survives the shutdown: a direct Broadcast to chat, your Rich Menu, or Facebook/Instagram if you run those alongside LINE.
- If you bought LINE Ads inside VOOM, check LINE Ad Manager for how your placements were reassigned.
If you run a unified LINE and Facebook inbox, use this shutdown to check which outbound content depends on a single channel.
