Google announced on October 20, 2026 that it is adding business tools inside the Gemini app, aimed at small business owners rather than developers. The update adds a business hub, on-brand AI images and financial-insight tools, rolling out globally over “the coming days” to every user.
Four Tools, One Hub
A new landing page manages branding, finances and customer insights in one place, Google says. Upload a brand kit once, and Gemini keeps later images in that style without re-uploading guidelines; visuals come from Nano Banana 2.1, Google’s newest image model. A separate tool turns spreadsheets and receipts into financial graphics automatically. The hub connects to Google Business Profile, Ads and Workspace, plus Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero.
What Google Did and Didn’t Say
Google names no price: everything above rolls out to “all Gemini app users,” no separate subscription mentioned. Rollout is global, but Google gives no exact date per country — only “the coming days.” Businesses needing admin controls or formal data governance are pointed instead to the paid “Gemini for your business” product on Google Cloud; this free rollout is the individual-owner version, not that one.
Three Things to Try Before Your Next Campaign
- Watch the Gemini app this week or next for a new business section, then upload your logo and colours once and check a generated image against your usual LINE OA or Facebook style first.
- If you sell through Shopify or Wix, or design in Canva, connect that account and see whether the financial-insight tool turns receipts into something readable at a glance — a second opinion, not a bookkeeping replacement.
- Need shared logins or audit trails across a bigger team? Budget for “Gemini for your business” instead — this rollout doesn’t include that.
These tools make the marketing assets; a Thai business still needs an inbox like 1CS’s unified inbox to handle what customers say back on LINE, Facebook or WhatsApp.
